Mothering Sunday will soon be celebrated here in the UK on the 30th March 2014.

Mothering Sunday is a Christian holiday celebrated throughout Europe that falls on the 4th Sunday in lent. Secularly, it became an occasion for honouring the mothers of children and giving them presents. It is increasingly being called Mother's Day, although that has always been a secular event quite different from the original Mothering Sunday. In the UK, Mothering Sunday is celebrated in the same way as Mother's Day is celebrated elsewhere.

Taking Advantage....

Today I have taken advantage of MISI's free listing weekend. This is taking place from Saturday 4th January - Sunday 5th January 2014.

The Black Rose

These gorgeous roses arrived in the post yesterday

and today two of them got turned into these gorgeous bookmarks!

The roses are made from polymer clay, and are absoulty stunning!

The bookmark on the left is the Forest Rose Bookmarks, made from green, black, red and brown glass pearls, and the bookmark on the right is the Love Rose Bookmark, and is made from red and black glass pearls. Both are hung on silver plate squiggle bookmarks measuring 3.5 inches.

I have handmade and listed this gorgeous Orange and Cream Petal Flower Bracelet.

What's new?

Like everyone, the new year is a great way to start positive and be more focused! So, I'm going to give it a go!

I have been busy over the Christmas and New Year holidays designing and making some new jewellery and accessories.
