CRAFTfest is almost here!

Less than a week to go until the FIRST CRAFTfest of 2014 begins. This year the first fest begins on the 24th May, 2014 and runs 24 hours a day throughout the week until the 31st May, 2014.

Booking forms are now closed if you wanted a stall, but the fest is open for everyone and the best part about it is that the entrance fee is FREE!

We were one of the first online craft fairs, and CRAFTfest isn’t just a virtual online craft fair! The main difference with CRAFTfest to other craft fairs, is that it is a community experience. The whole event is hosted on our Crafters Social Network, we are not just about uploading items to your stall and trying to sell things. We are about the bigger picture, making friends, interacting with other crafters, people who understand your passion, and your craft. We are about having fun in the forums and chatting in the chat room, exchanging tips, learning new ideas and speaking to other crafters that have years, months or weeks of experience. We can all learn something new from other people doing the same as us, running a business by ourselves and trying to make a living from crafting.

The CRAFTfest blog is the best place to get to know the fellow CRAFTfest stall holders. http://craftfest-events.blogspot.co.uk.

New delights!

Over the past week I have added lots of new delights to Sprinkles Sparkles Online. As well as the new summer necklaces, Summer Dew Necklace, and Rose & Crystal Necklace, I have added many new Glass Beaded Hair Bobbles, and some new Bag Charms.

We will be closed over the weekend, Saturday & Sunday, as we have a craft fair at Rainscombe Park, Marlborough, Wiltshire. So, if there is anything you have your eye on, now is the time to grab it before it's gone!

See you there, or until next time...

It was like loosing my Teddy Bear!

You know that horrible, sickening feeling you get in your stomach when you loose something? That's how I felt today.
We woke up to no Internet!

I was intending to spend the day researching into finding more craft fairs, and updating my site, but noooo. It was 5pm by the time it came back on. So according to the last Twitter feed post that was 2:58am, that's 14 hours downtime! No emails, no chatting, no 'work'! It was like loosing my Teddy Bear!

I cannot believe how much I rely on the internet, just for basic chores, like checking my bank balance, looking at Radio Times site for program times, ordering food from Tescos.

Instead I spent the day doing an entire cross stitch for my mum to give to her on Mother's Day, finally watching Marley & Me (it was hard holding back those tears!), washing up, watching the Big Bang Theory, and more Bones, playing on the Wii, and generally having fun! I've certainly become one of many casualties to spending too much time on-line, and that needs to change! One thing that won't change, mind you, is my morning MSN chats to Anna - The Crystal Lady!

Hope you are all well.
